The BLU on Lorraine

No hot tub. For two years. False advertising. Every monthly rent of mine has not been credited for rent. Instead they have been listing it as a bill I owe them since November. They have now kicked me out a lawyer is involved. Makes no sense. Rent always paid on time. Now they have erased their records. I have them. Of course I do...I'm not dumb...I'm leaving also because of there lack of management skills and lies obviously. No one should hide rent payments. They say that they have rented the apt. I live in months ago..I live here. Strange someone wants it...it is in the prime location of blu location. Hmm. What's going on with REAL properties. I wonder..will find out

I recently moved into my new apartment at The Blu, and I absolutely love it. The move-in process was super seamless and Kaitlin helped me every step of the way. Upon entering my unit, I was extremely pleased to see that everything was in perfect working condition, with brand new appliances and sparkly clean! I love waking up to my lake view and also a big fan of the natural light beaming in through my large glass slider door. The gym is a huge perk for me. I love cycling and they have two peloton bikes available for resident use. The property as a whole is kept very tidy which I definitely notice and appreciate. Lastly - having underground parking is going to be so nice especially as winter starts to roll in. Thanks for everything!

I had an amazing move in experience thanks to Kaitlin! I am very excited for my new adventure at The Blu! And you can’t beat the view!

What a lovely visit. We are retiree’s from Maryland and are assessing options for a move to SD. We stopped in without an appointment. Kaitlin was so welcoming and full of information concerning Blu. She even took us on a tour of multiple units. Facilities here are all focused on a better quality of everyday living. We just finished an application and are hoping to begin our new adventures into retirement with The Blu as home base.

I was initially excited to move into The Blu, but after a few months of living here, I’ve been increasingly disappointed. Communication with the site manager has been extremely poor. I’ve sent numerous messages and often don’t receive a response for days—if at all. This is unacceptable. The hot tub was portrayed as operational when I moved in. I’ve now been here for five months, and it still hasn’t worked. Several residents are frustrated, to the point that notices were posted in the elevator, yet nothing has changed. The garage door has been removed for over eight days and still hasn’t been fixed. I’m not sure how this level of delay is possible.
