THE GOOD: The apartments are big & comes with washer and dryer. THE BAD: The walls are very thin. The smells from adjoined units will seep into your apartment. I could hear my neighbors using the bathroom & having conversations. Residents were forced to use Spectrum internet around the Fall. There is no security. The single arm gate at the rear of the property rises for any vehicle. This property has front, and rear gated entry, but they are only operational about 10% of of a year, malfunctioning during rain, cold, heat, or if someone decides to run their vehicle through the gates. Property damage, package theft, and breaking into vehicles in the parking lot go undetected because there are no surveillance cameras. If you are the driver of an EV car looking to move to Tapestry Park Apartments for the convenience of on-site charging, consider carefully before choosing. Impressions overall: Tapestry Park offers the prestige of being on the border of Mountain Brook City Limit at a Birmingham price. The complex is quiet and somewhat clean although stains on the floor in the breezeway were not cleaned for several weeks. The property is surrounded by beautiful woods. Getting to the freeway requires a tedious 30-35 mph trip loaded with traffic lights and stop signs but just about anywhere major such as Shuttlesworth Airport and the downtown business district can be reached in only 10 minutes. This apartment complex is really beautiful and super convenient to all areas of town. They have beautiful pool areas, great apartments (with hardwood flooring), and the staff is amazing! David, a member of the maintenance team, was incredibly friendly, excited to do his job (Which is rare), and seemed ready to help out ASAP if there’s a maintenance issue!!! Tiffany and Alesia, in the front office, are extremely well informed and will literally walk you through the process! For anyone looking for a fabulous place to live, look no further!!!

Lived there for two years when they switched over management. Front office isn’t helpful, gates never worked, ZERO cameras on the property, and my car was totaled in the parking lot while I was home. Also, while I was there, someone was involved in an armed robbery. Definitely not a good place to live for young women in their 20s

Packages getting stolen left and right. They are ripped open and rummaged through every day. Empty boxes left around the complex as trash. Gates are open 24/7, mail room has no lock, and there are no cameras. Anyone can come in off the street and enter our spaces, which explains the constant package theft and car break ins. Management refuses to consider closing the entrance gates (that we pay for) or putting a very simple lock on the mail room (that we also pay for). Pool closed for 3 weeks going on 4 for “maintenance” in the middle of summer. No signs of work being done.
