I see many of you guys sharing your experiences similar to mine. this company is a scam. I paid my deposit, and went to sign the lease. The lease has been signed. We been waiting almost a two weeks.For the email copy of lease. I was supposed to be moving in next week. And now all of a sudden it’s problem with my application. Problems that’s doesn’t make sense. They do not want to give me my deposit back. And the man who I talked to was very rude. And aggressive. I will be taking legal action against this company with everyone involved. and continue to share my story every platform I have. and be many others advocate. hopefully we’re able to reach some sort of agreement without that. A scam. A scam a scam.

After a tumultuous time finding a rental property in Winston-Salem, NC, TE Johnson & Sons has exceeded our expectations. We just moved into a beautiful rental property and everything has been easy and timely.

I have never been treated so poorly by any leasing company in my many years of renting. They were sweet as can be until paperwork is signed and money is handed over. After, a total 180 - unhelpful, rude, disrespectful and worse. If you have an issue and have to go down to their office, they hide behind their locked glass doors and stare at you instead of actually helping or explaining anything. I am just thankful they were not managing the property in the end, only handling the lease. Would not recommend.

Needed a place to live in a week, they had me in a great apartment in a great location within 4 days! Colleen showed me around and answered all the questions I had. Personable yet professional staff! Online portal makes renting easy. Go with this company if you want a good renting experience. (Golden rule still applies) UPDATE 10/15/17: Renting with them since February. Auto-payments 1st of every month, no issues thus far.

I rented with T. E. Johnson & Sons. They made the experience so easy from start to finish. Applying was a breeze even though I has special circumstances with pets and income. They took great care of me by promptly handling all my maintenance requests and coordinating all the communication beautifully with the homeowner and I when I the home security system was acting up. They recommended absolutely dream overnight pet sitter to stay at my home. She was so good I continued to use her for years after. And I think she was actually a tenant in one of their other properties so talk about helping both tenants at the same time!
