Management does the absolute bare minimum, legally required and provides a contract that requires tenants to take as much responsibility of the property as they can legally require. Manager is old/retirement age and does not keep up with the property. Multiple sewage, electrical, and HVAC problems across different apartments, no updates, any repairs done are through non licensed contractor that does not speak English and cannot understand the problem when explained. I lived here for only one year because the contract tied me into it and I was positive the management would come after me if I broke it. I have never lived in such poor conditions prior to renting this place. If you choose to live here ensure you send the contract to a lawyer prior to signing.

They expect you to pay a $500 money order (in addition to the application fee you already paid) to "hold an apartment" before signing a lease or putting any agreement on paper. Everything about how they do business is very sketchy. The owner is old and barely speaks English, which doesn't help matters. She is extremely frustrating to work with and clearly has no idea how to manage rentals.

Upon asking information about applying she was asking about my income. I have enough to qualify to pay the rent. But she doesn’t understand what my job is and told me this place was only for “professionals” like teachers and nurses.
