Summerville Apartments

This is by far the worst apartment that anybody could ever rent Unfair renting practices Unfair charges. Regarding the pest control that we pay for and don't receive You charged us for renters, insurance, even though we had our own And when our apartment flooded, you rendered us, no aid period all four times it flooded On top of my son's room, having popcorn falling down on top of his bed If you yourself wouldn't let your child sleep in conditions like this, how can you rent an apartment in the same conditions Honestly, I think the owner and whoever is managing.This company needs to be sued and all business license and any venture revoked One day that karma's gonna come a background on you And I hope you get what you deserve

I own a roofing company and I worked with Krystal the Property Manager at Summerville Apartments a few times and she is very helpful and insightful each time I have spoken with her. I would certainly recommend working with her and the team.

One year ago, I moved to Charleston, SC and we found Summerville Apartments. We chose the apartments because of the location, and a bonus was that rent was affordable for what seemed like a nice unit. When we went to view the place, we were shown a renovated unit resembling the picture on their website. We were told we would be moving into a non-reno unit for 5 months until our newly updated unit was ready. There were last minute water shut offs, waking up to a flooded kitchen and mold in the bathroom. Then the 5 months of unexpected inconveniences and delays were pushed out to 9 months! The day our new unit was ready, they lost our keys and it was 5pm by the time we were able to get in, and the office had closed. Below are pictures of our new "Renovated" unit. It was a huge disappointment

Water outages, staff entering your home whenever they want with no notice, nothing gets fixed and no one cares. Plumbers are here weekly snaking drains due to backups and overflows in the toilet systems. They also charge monthly for pest control that they have not been providing for the past 6 months+ making bugs a problem. Building in poor condition for being renovated, seems to be a tactic to charge excessive amounts of rent. There are better options nearby at similar cost

Wouldn’t live in these apartments if the rent was a $100 a month. First the flooding happened, not much they did for the first one. The second was our ac and I cleaned that up. The third was the worst. They handled it terribly. The whole apartment needed demo from knee length down and scheduling to fix things and do things was the worst. Then With the maintenance man coming in unannounced for a “work order” over a month after the flood.. they let my dog out and her accident cost me 5k and they gave me a credit for 1k even though the maintenance guy illegally came into my apartment unannounced.. and he left the door open after petting my dog and he walked out the room. My dog slowly walked outside. He denied till I pointed out my CAMERA. But they did end up firing him. His name was Landon
