Steeplechase Apartments

Moved into a dirty apartment had to call the front to have it cleaned to move things in while people are cleaning so it wasn’t 100% clean through the length of the stay they were redoing siding for about 6 months so very slow disturbing and took up parking spots. Had a mutual lease release paid them half of the remainder of my lease forfeited my deposit the apartment was cleaner then what I came into and still charged 300 some odd dollars was never notified until I received an email at 2am notifying me that I was a month late when they made no other prior communication. Also had to schedule a walk through that the apartment manager did not show for had to go to the front office to ask. Very poor experience as I was a good tenant and paid a month early each month and kept to myself.

We are so happy with our choice to move into Steeplechase Apartments. The office staff have been amazing at helping us with the process of applying and signing our lease. Maintenance seems to be very on top of things and keeping the whole complex well maintained. There are also a lot of great amenities at Steeplechase that we are enjoying.

I’ve lived here for 3 years now. The staff have always been exceptional. They are friendly, and always respond whenever there are issues. I’ve put in three maintenance requests for very minor things, (a garbage disposal, a sink drain, and a toilet flush handle thing) and they always get the job done well. The grounds are kept nice, and they are on top of security as much as any complex can be. This is my best apartment experience by far. Thanks for having me!

This is a great place to live. Any maintenance issue is resolved promptly, the staff are friendly and professional, and I’ve truly enjoyed the four years I’ve spent at this complex. The pet friendly environment is one of the biggest perks to living here. Great place to be!

People here have to worry about their vehicles being robbed, it has happened multiple times. They don’t maintain the exercise equipment in the gym. Loose screws on weight machines and even screws that have fallen out completely. Very dangerous to the tenants that use it. They also locked the shower in the swimming pool so no one can use it. We pay for these amenities, we should be able to use them. Don’t know if there has been a management change since I’ve moved in three years ago, but definitely going downhill. (Photos are of the loose screws) Update: looked it up and South Dakota requires all indoor pools to have a shower.
