I never leave reviews, but felt inclined to share how positive my time living at Station House was. I was an original tenant and lived there for just over a year and a half. I couldn't have been happier with my unit, the building's location, and the management staff. The building is very secure and beautifully maintained. Not once did I feel unsafe living there. Alyssa and the rest of the management staff were so kind and responsive to any maintenance issues or just to have a quick chat. I relocated out of the area and was so sad to leave, but Alyssa made my premature move-out a seamless process. The proximity to downtown is also a plus with multiple options for guest parking which made having visitors super easy. If you are looking to live in Somerville (first of all, do it), Station Hou

While we loved our apartment at station house, we felt uncomfortable living here because of the management. The apartments are advertised as “pet friendly”, however dogs are basically not allowed anywhere on the premise (including the elevator). You have to walk your dog in the back of the building in the dog park, which is inconvenient to get to especially at night. The dog park also has a huge gap in the bottom of the fence, which is very dangerous if you have your dog off leash. Our dog managed to escape through the gap once but luckily he was safe. You are also constantly being watched by management, so if your dog accidentally goes to the bathroom anywhere besides the dog park, you will get an email from them. We once got yelled at by the landlords wife too, which made us extremely un

This was a great building to live in, but many things did not meet our expectations and we’re not handled appropriately by management. When we moved in, we were told there would be a dog washing station. This was never even started while we were there. Two out of the three treadmills were broken for months and were still broken when we moved out which made it extremely difficult to workout on the machines we wanted to use especially during peak hours. We also kept being promised things that were not happening within the expected timeline and the communication from management was horrible. We were told when we moved in that we’d have events at least once a month and we were excited about this as this was a big reason we wanted to live in an apartment. In the 12 months we lived there, there

Just renewed my lease – this place is honestly a tier above everything else. May be a bit biased since I chose Station House but it’s pretty obvious once you tour similar buildings in town and compare what each property offers. The general ambiance of the building is very refined rather than trendy, niche or ‘modern’ which is something I really appreciate. Only thing that would make it better would be two parking spots in the garage underneath the building, but they don’t charge additional parking rent and spots are assigned so it’s more than a fair tradeoff. Property managers have also been both exceptionally professional and accommodating during our interactions. If you’re looking for a place in downtown Somerville, you won’t find a better spot. P.S… If you can’t understand why manageme

Did a tour of this building 2 weeks ago, i dont see what all the complaints are about. Management has been responsive to every one of my emails, the apartment that my roommate & i were shown is alot bigger than what we are paying for where we are now. So far im very happy & impressed. I get it things happen in every complex community, gym equipment breaks down, outside fences get busted do to weather or just neighbors who are just jerks and have nothing better to do. Honestly i cannot wait to live here, and i hope that my roommate & i get to move in soon. Hence why the 4 star review still on the waiting list 🥰
