Dryer hasn’t worked properly most of the time we’ve lived here (~6 months), dishwasher is completely dead and has been for weeks, on day 7 of no flooring in unit without an update as to when we can expect resolution. Offered communal dryers multiple times even though we chose the complex for the in unit laundry. Getting ahold of the office to handle any issues is quite difficult. Otherwise the complex is quiet, neighbors are friendly, and the location is great. We’re big fans of the walk to Publix. Bayshore is right down the road. The high ceilings in the unit really make the space feel open. However- having a dryer and flooring are quite important to me…

If I could give this place zero stars, I would give it negative ten. My experience here has been nothing short of a nightmare. The property management team is amongst the shadiest individuals I have ever dealt with. My entire apartment flooded and they refuse to accept responsibility or offer any sort've solution. I truly have never seen anything like it. Save yourself the headache.

Unacceptable Move-In Experience Our family’s move-in experience at South Pointe Apartments in Tampa has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. From the moment we moved in, multiple essential items in our apartment were not working. At move-in, we had no hot water, the dishwasher was not functioning, the privacy lock was broken, the bulk internet was not installed, and the apartment was not properly cleaned prior to our arrival. These are basic necessities that should be addressed before keys are handed over. When these issues were brought to the attention of the property manager, Jamie, I was essentially told that because the issues were addressed the next day, management considered this acceptable and confirmed that this was our move-in experience. Living at South Pointe has been a fantastic experience! The community is clean, well-kept, and feels like home. Mark, the property manager, is truly amazing—always professional, kind, and quick to address any concerns. He really goes the extra mile to make sure residents are happy. On top of that, the maintenance crew is outstanding! They’re prompt, skilled, and always friendly. Anytime I needed something fixed, it was taken care of quickly and done right the first time. Huge shoutout to the whole team here—you all make this a great place to live!

I’ve had a great experience living here for the past nine months. The move-in process was smooth, and management has been responsive and helpful whenever we’ve had concerns. The apartment is quiet, well-maintained, the community feels safe and comfortable, and there’s always parking available. Any minor maintenance requests have been handled in a timely manner, and overall, the living experience has been really positive. If you’re looking for a well-managed and welcoming place to live, I’d definitely recommend this community!
