The building has incredible views of Oakland from the rooftop deck and the amenitites are great. More than that, the management staff, and especially Ashley, were highly supportive in helping me through my move-in process. She went above and beyond helping me move in and her support is a key reason I made the choice to move here.

I’ve lived at the Zo for about couple months now. We’ve recently gone through a change in management, which has been different but very beneficial. I love that the building is always clean and everyone is quite friendly. The amenities is really what sold me as well as their centralized location. The area is very walkable and easy to navigate if you don’t own a vehicle. I love the pet amenities, the Zo definitely has the best in the area. I would definitely recommend the Zo to anyone looking to move to the area.

I moved into Zo near the end of May, early June, of 2022. Upon move-in, and lease renewal, I was promised an account credit towards rent and received it. The value was great for the space provided (2bd/2ba) and I had a beautiful view from a corner unit. Since I moved in the staff have been cycled through multiple times and as I was moving out (July 2024) the staff had recently been updated that year. From the previous management in the office, the new staff is friendly, easy to talk with, and will help you out with what you need. The ammentities of the community are nice, the upstairs has a shallow pool that is heated (although during my time living here the pool had been closed for months due to overhaul maintenance project). Skaia’s new management has been amazing. They are very helpful and responsive, and they ensure that maintenance requests are addressed promptly once submitted. They have also made some great improvements and positive changes to the apartments.

the leasing office person who showed me apartments was great. the building was nice. the studio apartment was just a little odd shaped. at the time that i looked at them, the price was $1658. there was some pressure about that pricing and how there was a very limited time (48? hours) to secure that price, after which the price would go up. i don't like that. it's true that i can make many decisions in that time, but i don't ever like being pressured. i find it a true turn off. tbh, i liked the leasing agent, the apartment was doable and the building was nice, but i found the company procedure to be ick. 1 star off for that. And in the end, i decided to rent elsewhere. my decision was based on the fact that i originally decided to move so i could save money and the amount of savings would h
