Signature Homes

I am living in my 6th signature home, five of which I've built from scratch. I've heard so many talk about building a home being a terrible experience. I've had the opposite in every case. The homes are beautiful, they stay on schedule, they make the choices over finishes easy by directing clients to vendors who are familiar with their homes, etc. If you want an rewarding homebuilding experience, call them!

Bought new built house 2.5 years ago from Signature Homes, still building a lot of homes. I bought homes in different states, this one has been falling apart since we moved in. Builder company used the cheapest very low quality materials including doors, windows, appliances, even concrete! Doorway already cracked needing replacement but offered to be caulked. After months of purchase, there were many spots separated including the corners of door frames, shelves, window frames, etc., we couldn’t open many windows and close many doors because of deformations needing repair or replacement. They were just nailed because of very low quality. Water heater is the cheapest Chinese product to n US market installed by builder is now dead and neither builder nor the manufacturer is behind the produc

Working with Signature Homes was a great experience for us. From start to finish the team was wonderful, patient, and supportive. They guided us through the whole process - answering all of our questions, providing suggestions, and finding solutions to meet our individual needs. In addition, they've been timely and supportive on any follow-up needs that we've had. We'd highly recommend them and would work with them again.

I see a lot of comments about trim pulling away and cracks etc.. these are all normal in the first year or so of a new home. Truss rise, nail pops and trim and moulding pulling away are all repaired at the year end because the home is drying out, the wood it is built with is drying out. The concern should come if you have a builder who isn’t addressing the problems. Signature/Ironwood always addressed my issues in a timely fashion and my home was in excellent shape after my year end. Love it!

When we built our home Steve Meid was great to work with. However, we were the last of of his clients and he relocated by the time we closed. We had a signifiant issue with the framing around the garage that was addressed at the 1 yr inspection. However, the repairs were not done correctly and the same problem materalized the following year. We sent photos, made calls, and sent emails. I spent all of last year trying to get someone to respond, with no luck. My emails and calls went unresponded. The issue is that at contstruction they did not properly close the framing and so water and snow have caused the frame to corrrode. They replaced the corroded frame, but never addressed the underline issue. What has been unacceptable is the lack of respons. Last summer they sent one of the
