While staff were generally polite, we encountered repeated “office policies” that did not appear to align with the lease and could not be provided in writing when requested. During the process, we incurred significant additional costs, including overnight shipping for a notarized lease (about $150). However, because we were unable to get the lease notarized prior to, we were able to sign the lease the day we moved in. Incredibly unprofessional business!!! This complex was not like this several years ago. It used to be known as a decent complex. It’s gone significantly downhill in appearance, maintenance, and especially customer service. The office staff are extremely unprofessional, gave inaccurate information that negatively impacted us gravely. We are currently trying to get out of a lease and sublease to someone in need of a place to stay and the furniture we were giving to her. A mother with 3 kids that has promptly done everything asked of her for approval and it is this facility’s decision and have waited now 3 weeks to give her a response, which also holds us up on whether or not we should sell the furniture. They would not let my husband out of the lease after we got married and now are refusing

Only giving one star because I have to so that I can review. It's taken me almost a year to write this review because I can't think of words strong enough to convey how bad our experience was. First, our move-in was delayed due to them "correcting issues from the previous tenant" - not sure how bad it was before they corrected these issues, but it was not good when we took control of the property. The carpet was so dirty upon move in that we had to vacuum twice to remove all the dirt and pet hair from the previous tenant. We were told the carpet had been professionally restored, and if that's the case they should fire whatever company is doing this "professional restoring" for them. I absolutely love how quiet it is at Emerald Ridge, it’s so peaceful. The pool is so relaxing in the summer time and the fire pit is so nice in the cooler months. My pup also enjoys the bark park. We love it here and also the staff!

Horrible absentee management. The property manager has no authority to assist or help tenant with easy issue. She should. The company should also work with a long time tenant. 14 yrs or so. I have a medical situation, and on March 4 I was rushed to emergency surgery (clot in my arm). I knew rent was due and called. I was not able to pay until I got out, on 7th. That is only a 10% fee, not 15%. AND I produced documentation and left at both local and main office. Have been to main office twice. I am not willfully "violating my lease agreement." The rent is paid, and I was literally unconscious in surgery on March 4 (just coincidence). They are overcharging and unreasonable. Charging almost $300 in fees. AND doing this to a long time tenant with a serious medical issue (need kidney transplant
