I recently had the pleasure of securing a secondary apartment here for professional reasons. I had filled out an application for another complex and spontaneously decided to stop by RiverEdge to see check it out. Everyone else was busy, but Jerome decided to show me around during his off time. He was very kind and considerate to my needs and found the perfect unit for me. He had excellent follow-up via email and because of his great services, I decided to sign the lease. My husband and I have recently moved into an apartment at RiversEdge apartments. From our first phone call ,to our scheduled tour of the property we have encountered nothing short of complete kindness and professionalism!! Every question answered in a timely fashion ! They have went above and beyond our expectations! As our lease wasn’t an easy one! My husband is a traveling superintendent! It comes with a very detailed lease agreement. Great experience ever since moving into RiversEdge. Love the area and staff is great. Concierge is always friendly and helpful. Management staff Josh and Jerome are great and always go above and beyond. Love the building events they have been throwing such as the autumn event to bring the community together and make the building feel warm and welcoming!! Highly recommend

I recently had an experience with Rivers Edge, Weehawken, and while the building itself seems great, I want to share a warning for future applicants. First, I have to say that Jerome was very kind and professional when showing me the apartment. He was helpful and patient, and I appreciated his time. However, the company’s process is tricky and misleading. When I was applying, I specifically asked Jerome if the $125 application fee was refundable in case we changed our minds, and he clearly told me no, the application fee is non-refundable, but the $1,000 deposit is fully refundable. Now, after deciding not to move forward, they suddenly changed their stance and are refusing to return my $1,000 deposit. Their excuse? They claim it’s for “liquidated damages.” But what damages?
