I rented with this business for two years. Throughout those two years the property had various issues, whether it be issues with the plumbing, pests, or utilities, they never cared to assist. One summer the AC went out and I called the office and they told me to "spray it with water." Another time there was an infestation of bugs and I was told that they were just bad that time of year and there was nothing they could do. Furthermore, when moving out I left the garage door opener in the property and sent photo documentation and they still charged to have it replaced. Blinds were replaced as some of them were broken but instead they charged again to replace brand new blinds. They created fake charges of light bulbs having to be replaced as well as others. All the reviews you have read for Reiger Realty are TRUE. As a landlord I’m shocked by the lack of response and reasoning for creating made up broken or missing items like lightbulbs, garage door openers, or exorbitant lawn care fees that they take from your deposit when you move out. I provided receipts for the lawn company that charged us $50 per week, pictures of the bedroom plastic blinds we replaced as one was broken and a picture of the key/garage door opener when we left in the house that all worked perfectly fine. We had the place professionally cleaned yet they still took $440 from our deposit. Would NOT RECOMMEND renting from Reiger Realty EVER! What a scam!

My house was manage by another company until this people take over. I did not have a contract with them, but under the previous lady. Nevertheless they apply their conditions when I come to give my deposit back. They day I cleaned my house Norman utilities had ended my water, so I was going back and foward from a friends house to get water. I have a friend come in to check if everything was cleaned. They charged me part of my depositm even though they should have not under my contract that was not theirs but the previous management, and it had different conditions. They retaliated because on a first moment I though I was going to reamain on the house, but I found a better option and they did not take it well. They will go for your last cent if they can. Absolutely AVOID Rieger Realty, no matter the price. If they have good reviews at all, research WHO they are from - because I would bet the farm they are Rieger family and close friends.... We were new to Norman and signed on for a 6-month lease. When we moved in at the first of January, there were dead bugs littered throughout every corner of the house, the garbage disposal was backed up, inspection said the water heater was leaking gas into the house, etc. We tried to justify issues by price and knew it was very temporary. We spent our own labor and money fixing up some things inside, cleaning up the house, and had it at least 5X cleaner than it was at move-in, so we expected a full return of our rent deposit. NO, they docked approximately $400 for a $240 "cleaning fee" and light bulbs
