Residences at Lake Merritt

Cannot say enough good things about Residences at Lake Merritt from the time ive lived here and the real reason this building is such an amazing place to live, comes down to Tina and Mathew. Tina in the office is truly one of a kind. She is warm, professional, responsive, and genuinely cares about the residents. Any time I’ve had a question, concern, or needed help with anything, she’s handled it quickly and with such a positive attitude. She makes you feel seen and valued, not just like another unit number. That kind of service is rare. And Mathew, the building manager, is equally outstanding. He runs this place with pride, attention to detail, and real accountability. I’ve been living at Residences at Lake Merritt for about four months now, and overall it’s been a positive experience. The location is fantastic — being right by Lake Merritt means easy access to beautiful walking paths, great restaurants, and plenty of local shops. It’s a vibrant neighborhood with lots to do, and having everything so close by has been a real highlight. The apartments themselves are very spacious, which is something I really appreciate. The rooms have plenty of space to spread out and feel comfortable, whether you’re working from home or just relaxing. It’s been nice to have that extra room to make the space feel like home. I have been living at Residences at Lake Merritt for close to 3 years now. The complex is well maintained and always very clean. Apartments are very modern, and beautiful and very quiet. The location is in a very nice area near Lake Merritt and a bunch of restaurants. The parking is stackers, and I have only had issues with it roughly 3 times in almost 3 years which is not bad at all. When any issues have happened, the staff is usually there within minutes to resolve the issues, again the stackers usually have been down because people mess up the sensor while parking overall the system is pretty solid. The only area that gets a little back up is the recycle trash but that's because residents do not break down their boxes like they are supposed to. But the maintenance staff does such a good

I’ve been living here for over a year now and overall it has been great. Matthew and team are very responsive and genuinely care a lot about the tenants! Ricardo and the maintenance team are also always very responsive, helpful, and kind. All the residents I’ve interacted with have been friendly, and the building is well maintained.
