The apartments at 2824 west street had many pros and cons. For one, the kitchen is very small and took a lot to get used to and I had to buy multiple extension cords, shelves, and storage to make it work for me. My unit was on the ground floor and faced the parking lot, meaning I got a lot of commotion from the neighboring bars and loud neighbors and campus ave, but it wasn’t anything extreme. My apartment was very dirty when I moved in, even though when I went to pick up my keys they said they just got done cleaning. My feet were black while walking on the vinyl floor, there was a greasy sludge underneath the burners on the stove, cat hair and human hair in the fridge and shower, and other small things that made me think they didn’t thoroughly clean. I’m pretty stoked to be moving out of 2824 W St. after living here a year…I usually don’t leave reviews but you’ll find all reviews of Randall Corp on Google/Yelp are pretty accurate. You def get what u pay for (if ur frugal like me), however always had issues w/ Maintenance coming in un-announced, had to buy a special lock for my door as I was afraid of always being walked in on. Had a HUGE issue with my bathroom ceiling that took MONTHS of nagging to fix a pretty notable leak/mold/water damage on the ceiling, no security on any of the buildings, had issues w/ car vandalism in our parking lot with no help from the property manager. Your (unmonitored) mailbox will always have wet mail. Just loads of issues.

They have been very accommodating to any maintenance needs, and very understanding. They keep there properties bug free and I have found myself recommending them to others. I had a major surgery and haven’t been able to work though it’s been a very rough patch they have been very Very very kind to me. I would highly suggest it. I’ve seen people say negative things about Patti here but I personally respect her a lot. I’m not sure if she owns the properties but I personally feel she does a great job to keep up with everything.
