I did not live here, but I toured here. It was a very strange experience, the apartment smelled like mildew and I asked via email whether they check for mold before someone moves in. I had previously lived with mold for many years and it was a real priority for me to be sure I no longer had that problem. But when I asked Patty she was very hostile about it, and said "in my many years of experience I have never been asked such a question" I asked if they didn't check, would they be willing to? And she said "if we do it for you we would need to do it for our hundreds of other units" I thought to myself, well why wouldn't you already do that? I wish I could give this place zero stars. This place is basically the projects and when you complain about anything management puts their head in the sand. Considering breaking my lease its THAT bad. 2625 is no deal for a two bedroom you can get close to that price at other places around here or one bedroom with den that are actual luxury apts. The walls are paper thin and you can hear neighbors below you word for word like they were in youre apt. I've gotten in so many near accidents the people whip through the community. Its not safe at night alot of sketchy people walking around. Do yourself a favor a look elsewhere!

I scheduled an appointment to view apartments, only to be told that the only one I would be shown was the model unit. There were many apartments currently available but the leasing guy wouldn't let me see any of them, stating something like "they are all the same," which is not true...

As someone that saw the value of Google Reviews in assisting with my apartment search, I thought it might be helpful to offer my two cents on living here at Queen Anne’s Gate. I’ve lived in this community since September of 2023. Overall, I’ve been very happy with my experience living here. Before moving here, and prior to renewing my lease, I did, and have done, a lot of research on apartments north and south of Boston and I honestly haven’t found anything more affordable, or with better reviews, than here. The pros of living here far outweigh the cons - of which there are very few, and I would frame more so as inconveniences, like paying $5 to do a load of laundry or not getting someone on the phone from the leasing or management office on the first try. I wish I could give negative stars. I moved into Queen Anne’s Gate with my two children, one with severe asthma… only to be greeted by the overwhelming stench of animal urine and feces. I discovered piles of feces under the baseboard heater, urine stains throughout the floors, and filth in every corner. The unit was absolutely uninhabitable. Instead of acknowledging the biohazards, the property management offered a half-hearted “cleaning” and then tried to pay me off to vacate quietly, because they didn’t want to be held accountable. They never admitted the unit was unsanitary. This isn’t just a matter of poor cleaning, it’s a health and safety crisis. I am immune compromised, and both my children have asthma.
