Where to begin? Completely and thoroughly just using their 'power' to nitpick and harass not just me and my household, but nearly EVERYONE I've spoken to in my block, neighborhood and surrounding area. Our previous management company was at least justified in their notifications and enforcement of 'violations'. Preferred Communities came in literally 5 YEARS after improvements to my front yard were approved by the previous company and completed to start OBSESSING about a small amount of landscape rock that looked amazing. After arbitrarily deciding this was a HUGE threat to the aesthetic decor and uniformity of the community, they began to periodically fine and STEAL funds from my account to the point where I had no choice but to restore the area to BARE EARTH, to which they were finally h

UPDATE: They made right on their duties and have addressed the problem. I am very impressed and I recant the 2 star original review and move them up to 4 stars for quick action. Good job Korrine. This company is in our community, and I have to say, their priorities are completely misplaced. They’re quick to chase you down over minor issues, but meanwhile, our neighbor's house is a complete eyesore—shingles falling off, a backyard filled with two feet of debris in the pool, and junk scattered everywhere. Yet, nothing is done about it. Isn’t the whole point of an HOA to maintain the neighborhood's appearance? Instead, they focus on things like cars parked on the street or trash bins not being perfectly stowed, while visible property disrepair goes unaddressed. I even filed a complaint wit

Excellent service! Korin and her staff are competent, professional and friendly. We very much appreciate their work on behalf of our community. Sometimes residents are unhappy with decisions made by their elected board and mistakenly blame the manager. Preferred is a top notch company that provides outstanding service.

This has to be one of the worst companies in the industry. I have had a few amazing HOA experiences, but this company is, as they say, "Mr. George, this is no good operator." #shady #abusive. As you see from their other reviews, no body like them. They literally don't do anything useful. They do, however, charge outrageous fees, harass owners, and target people to make a point.. in example.. I contacted them about getting harassed for parking in the same approximate spot at every chance I get (in from on my door). I kept getting notices for parking violations on a public street. The very next day, after my complaint, they took the time out of their day to go to my property, isolate me, and pick at every little thing they could find. I thanked them for the continued harassment so the next d

I've had a disappointing experience with Preferred Communities LLC. Their response time to inquiries and requests is significantly delayed, often falling outside state-mandated timeframes. This lack of timely communication is a major concern. Legal counsel is frequently involved in simple community matters, leading to wasteful expenditure of community funds. Additionally, the company tends to impose unwarranted fines on properties, which seems unjustified and adds unnecessary financial burden. When these fines are imposed, the only forum to dispute them is to log into their website, which is near impossible. Meeting management is another area of concern, with frequent cancellations, delays, and poor conduct during Zoom meetings. The company's failure to adhere to its own rules, state rul
