Poplar Lane Apartments

I’ve been living here for a few years now. On the good side, maintenance has gotten faster when I put in a work order, and the office worker is nice and helpful. But there are a lot of ongoing issues. The office hands out notices for everything — even if you owe just $20, they’ll threaten to take away your second parking spot instead of just giving you a heads-up. Communication isn’t great either. They’ll tow cars without warning, and at one point they lost a set of keys but never told us if they were found or replaced the locks, which doesn’t feel safe. I’ve also seen Kevin, one of the employees, come and go from the property during work hours and even spotted him at the store. I have been here for 10 years. I love the helpful staff and feel safe here. They are very reasonably priced and it’s a very convenient location to pretty much everything. There’s a pool and work out room. I’ve been very comfortable here. I am on ground floor and cannot hear my neighbors on either side. Can sometimes hear the people above me so actually a very quiet apartment unit.

No wonder this apartment complex has a 2.5/5 review. This apartment complex is an absolute joke. From the constant theft in the area, no surveillance or security, to messing up your rent and towing your vehicle in the guest parking without notice while being a current tenant. The pricing looks appealing but it won’t last long. If I were you I would run for the hills. But hey what do I know, I just live here.

I've lived at Poplar Lane for 8 years and it is a fabulous place to live. They're very efficient when it comes to addressing any issues I've had. It's also very quiet and the setting is full of trees and plants so it's like living in a park. I would suggest it to anyone looking for an apartment to live in. I love it here plus it's close to freeway access and shopping centers.

My aunt is a long-time resident, and I was visiting her when my disabled mother’s vehicle was towed from a clearly marked guest parking spot. This wasn’t a case of someone taking a resident’s reserved space—this was a guest using the space intended for guests. Your statement that “vehicles not registered with your office cannot be permitted to remain in spaces not specifically reserved for guests” doesn’t apply here—this was guest parking, and yet the vehicle was still removed without a warning or notice.
