PMSI

I have rented a house from PMSI for over 10 years and am incredibly grateful for finding them. I have heard horror stories from many other renters who have rented from other companies in the area (Beal, Barnes and Barnes) but I've had none of the problems I've heard about while renting with PMSI. They fix things fairly speedily. Jason and Mollie are good people and not cruel or unreasonably stringent on things they could be if they wanted to squeeze more money out of us. I appreciate them and their hard work very much.

This company manages my Condo association. Like many others have already noted, the lack of communication and persistent inaction from this property management company is completely unacceptable. The level of negligence here warrants serious consequences. Similar to other condo associations, we’re facing severe root intrusion issues that remain unaddressed. Root issues have been known and documented on residential plumbing invoices. Promised root-blasting services are never scheduled, and the resulting sewer problems have led to rodent infestations—an entirely preventable health and safety issue. Overall fine for general maintenance, albeit not timely. Took over 6 months of documentation of a rodent problem for them to send a pest control company. Online portal does not process updated payment methods regardless of how far in advance, therefore late fees are charged with no refund. Mollie and other older woman in the office are consistently rude on the phone and do not answer most emails. Returned security deposit late despite the lease stating it would be returned within 30 days. Would not recommend unless home owner is responsive and also involved in management.

I have never had a worse experience with a leasing company and group of people. The property we are renting through them has flooded 4 times in the last year, and nothing has been done to find the root of the issue. They also provided no assistance to to tenant who’s room flooded - she had thousands of dollars worth of damages and they did not put her up while they “fixed” the room. They smack on some new paint and replaced the carpet in one of the bedrooms (after the third time) and called it a day. There is mold in the showers which they recaulk, only for it to become visible again within a month. I can only imagine how much mold is in the walls from the flooding and everything else.
