Pierpont Place

Honestly, just live in the dorms if you're desperate to be near campus. I regret ever renting here. The distance from campus and some of the amenities are the only good things. Where to begin? Their maintinence is superficial at best, and sometimes they take fixable issues and manage to make them worse. They paint over mold, btw. Their lockout fee is obscene ($75). They have more expensive parking than WVU does, and even if you pay them, your car may still get towed and damaged. If the power goes out on a Friday night, you're probably screwed until Monday. The first floor floods at random intervals. The laundry appliances only work effectively sometimes. The manager (hi Stephanie) is the embodiment of everything bad about corporate landlords. Pierpont is a very nice place to live on campus. I enjoy it a lot. I like how they offer parking and utilities are included in the rent. The staff is very helpful and kind. The whole community at pierpont is very pleasant overall. There's also a bus stop very close to the apartment which is nice for classes. The location is great and safe. I would definitely recommend to anyone:)

Awesome staff and amenities! Parking is really convenient for residents. only small complaint I have living here for 2 years is the heat and cooling can sometimes be extreme. Other than that Pierpont is great for students wanting an off campus option still within walking distance

I’ve had a great experience with this apt. Great laundry room and the fitness center is private and nice to use as an alternative to the rec center. The only reason this is 4/5 stars is because the boiler heat in the winter gets very hot with no way to combat it but to crack a window or leave a fan on, but other than that I’ve had a great experience so far.

Overall this place is nice to live and the staff is wonderfully kind. The location in accordance to campus cannot be beaten. The only issues is that there is no guest parking, you will be towed for quite literally anything, and the rent expensive. Also note that the A/C and heating system is not very flexible especially in the transition from fall-winter and winter-spring. It can get quite cold and very hot. Finally you have to pay for each load of laundry/drying. With how high rent is laundry should be included. I hope that as I move out that nothing will happen to tarnish this good review!
