Palisades at Manassas Park

I m renting a 2 bedroom apartment here Very silent community and great neighbors There was initially some misunderstanding and apartment was not ready - but the property manager Ann was very proactive on communicating while I was out of country, she made sure the apartment was ready with everything as discussed earlier. Mr. Anthony was helpful well on the first day with ensuring the fobs worked for gates- also sending in maintenance as needed for minor nick nacks. Bathroom exhausts are way way way way louder and they cannot be changed since they r in all apartments - wish they updated that and gave updated laundry machines But overall the community is clean- the common floor area is spacious and clean the trash area is clean and well kept

I’ve lived here 3 years—but only because it’s 5 minutes away from my work. Windows aren’t sound proof—can hear all the street noise at anytime of the day or night. Fire alarm goes off constantly and has taken as long as 2 hours to get turned off. In the beginning I trekked downstairs to see what was going on. After 4 false alarms in a week—I started to just ignore and listen for fire engines. If I burn in my apartment—that will be the reason. Amazon mailbox computer went down for a week and I wasn’t able to get my packages in time for my trip. Gate is constantly broken and in need of repair. They are quick to tow cars and visitor parking is extremely inconvenient. Dogs constantly pee in elevator. People steal packages. This place is fine if you travel a lot and aren’t home much.

When choosing a second residence in Virginia, I researched quite a few communities and came up disappointed every time. Until I discovered Palisades at Manassas Park. UGH, The Perfection 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 This community is Exactly as pictured on the website (Actually, even More Beautiful in person :) and we leased site unseen & have indeed found our perfect match! From the jump: Anthony and Karen as leasing agents were (and remain!!!) immeasurably helpful and Anna is an Outstanding Director. Repeat :) The grounds are exquisite, the pool is So.Beautiful. and Palisades has a fabulous gym and Gorgeous clubhouse. If I could give a negative star rating I most certainly would. I’ve lived here 6 months and wish I hadn’t signed a 14 month lease. Before I signed my contract I wanted to see the unit I would be leasing and was told I could not because people still resided there then once they moved and additional 2 to 3 weeks would be needed to clean, repair and paint. This timeframe ran me to an exact move in date. Much to my despair I had to sign the contract and pay the deposit. When you move in you are given what they call an Inventory and Condition form or a check list of the condition of the apartment due back to them in 5 days after moving in. Management is pretty great about getting things repaired, like the gate and Amazon lockers when they broke down. And the maintenance team is prompt about responding to tickets and very professional. I am upset that management allows police to ticket residents in the parking lot. I received a ticket in mid-November about my inspection tag expiring in Oct and not replacing it yet, but my car had been parked in the complex parking lot since expiring bc I work from home and don't drive often. I didn't see the ticket until 5 days after getting it. An apartment complex parking lot should be the equivalent of a person's driveway. A cop isn't going to walk onto a person's property to ticket them for this, so why is this being allowed in the parking lot of an apartment complex. It's not public pro
