I’m on my second year of having OWN Buffalo manage the apartment I’m in. Sean (maintenance) does not clean up after himself… don’t let him into your apartment without you there. He left my pipes exposed (after unthawing them) knowing that I have a cat- why try to create more problems for the person living in the apartment. Andrew is terrible with communication. Denise was my go-to person but she disappeared and Kristen Spoon came out of nowhere. I called this morning to vent to Kristin my distaste for the maintenance department and constant emails about the lease I already renewed. Her response: why do you live here if you are unhappy. My response: affordable housing. Affordable housing is difficult to find in Buffalo. Plus, I get along with the person who lives above me… I’ve never had to

I live at an Own Buffalo Property and they are extremely rude and unprofessional. I had to call early in the morning on sunday due to an emergency situation. I was on the phone with Kristen, who was extremely snippy, condescending and straight up rude. She told me I woke her up from her sleep and yelled at me on the phone multiple times when I was doing my due diligence being a good tenant when I smelled a gas smell. You shouldn’t be a property manager if you don’t want to be bothered at all hours of the day. I was just trying to keep the apartment from exploding and breathing in toxic fumes.

Employees are professional and courteous. It is not an easy task to manage multiple properties with all different owners. With OWN Buffalo - as a prior tenant, any requests or communications I had were received in a timely responsive manner and promptly resolved. I would highly recommend their property management services. - Thank you!

Working with Own Buffalo has been a great experience for me . Kristen and Andrew are always friendly , professional and nothing but extremely down to earth with me . Any issue I have it’s always addressed in a quick fashion . I haven’t had the easiest of years this past year and it really meant a lot to me to be treated like a person instead of looked down upon, that’s rare nowadays . 5 stars and I would encourage anyone looking for a place not to hesitate to work with them .

I recently switched from Real Capital Group and it has been a game changer so far. The other company was horrible on communication and they were bleeding me dry. Being a first time rental property owner, I needed competence and to make gains. We are finally making profit and Andrew and his team have been excellent in their communication and thoroughness. It is much appreciated and I am happy.
