Elderwood Residences at Cheektowaga

I have not been patient, but I have a friend who is. These are my observations. Short staffed so that assistance is frequently delayed. No patient should have to be in soiled underwear for over an hour. Rooms are adequate but very cramped. Housekeeping needs improvement. I visit several times a week and often see the same trash on the floor that I noted during my previous visit. Toilets should be checked for cleanliness multiple times a day. Human waste should be wiped off, especially in a shared room. Food is okay. My friend and her roommate are able to eat most of what is offered. So far, staff members have been courteous and kind, but they are understaffed, and both patients and employees suffer.

Best place to send my grandma! The staff are great, the food is amazing, my grandma loves it here and i do too!

Excellent care from all staff, both medical and service. Clean and bright everywhere. Recommend highly for post-surgical rehab care.
