Oakland Station

I live here so, I'm a little prejudice. It's a nice place to live, now that they've gotten rid of all the BAD ELEMENTS ! It's usually quiet, and most of the people are nice and respectful. There are 6 Floors, and a laundry and fitness room, on every floor. There are 2 main elevators,and one that hardly anybody uses, because it's toward the rear of the parking garage. It's sort of out of the way, unless you're parked near it. Managerial staff on site, Monday thru Friday 9-5pm, Satutday 9-1pm. Maintainece staff Monday thru Friday.

My mother moved into this building when it was brand new and the decline has been very quick! First of all, the building/street looks nothing like the picture in Google, and never did! It's on a narrow one way street with barely any parking. There are more and more wrecked parked cars out front everyday. Lots of shady characters hanging out front everyday, and what appears to be a drug dealer living in a van right out front. The front office has changed multiple times, and it's always inexperienced people who don't really know how to help you. They have recently said they're planning to remove the age restriction on the building- not that younger people haven't living there this entire time anyway. Sorry but it a Lots of management changes. No direct line to staff, they prefer to walk to each unit an stack notes on the doors. No real security, just some students that sit in a chair in the parking lot (cause the large roll up doors are broke for the last seven months). Homeless camps all around. Elevator smells like weed, doggy piss. Hallways carpets are disgusting. Age regulations are mot enforced. Not meant for anyone definitely not seniors. Don’t send loved ones to live at these apartments.

I'm interested in the property, so I did a drive by: 105th st entrance is a raggedy neighborhood, the whole other side of the block looks like a homeless site. Garage entrance stays open so no car security. Not able to see front office side. Need more research and a tour.
