I called Josh with Northpointe after using a recommendation from family. I was completely up from and told him about our bankruptcy 7+ years ago, our credit history, and was completely transparent. Josh got back to me right away and said our credit was good and our debt to income ratio was great. Said he could qualify us for xxx amount and possibly even higher going conventional. I asked him specifically if he saw red flags and he said no. We got to work and found a property we loved, even gave him a heads up that we would need a preapproval letter the next day. The next day was a nightmare. We worked to get our offer letter in, with a 4 pm offer Deadline to meet, josh was hard to get ahold of, then finally gave us the terrible news that we had too many red flags to go conventional with ou

WORK WITH JOHN! I cannot recommend John enough! His personalized phone call to the seller's agent singly secured the home I am. He was so patient as I asked many, many questions! He was even ready to close early! An absolute incredible person to work with!

Do NOT use these people. Troy Williams did a horrible job for my friend--made him pay off $25k on a loan and said there were no issues, but didn't even check the little things. They lost their loan due to the easiest of catches. They did nothing to help in any way, just said, 'sorry it didn't work out.'
