NordHaus Apartments

I lived here for nearly 5 years. I loved NordHaus when I first moved in in 2020 but ultimately decided to move out this year. The amenity deck was my favorite part of living here - really spacious with a great pool/hot tub, grills, etc and well maintained. Building management was also easy to work with for the most part and maintenance requests were always actioned on quickly with an incredibly helpful staff. The neighborhood itself has lots of good restaurants & bars within walking distance which we enjoyed. That said; if you are considering NordHaus here are some things to keep in mind: If you live in the low rise building facing university avenue, be prepared to hear LOTS of street noise - revving engines, motorcycles honking, car accidents, even fights (yes, we witnessed several) - e

Nice apartments but be careful parking in the public garage there is a very quick grace period for using the QR code to pay. Even after you have paid although late a 55 dollar charge will be assess through there tag reader. I paid for a full 24 hours but was late, they didn't give AF it was late so be careful. But the apartments are nice. It's the winter so you are kinda force to park in there. In the summer the street is fine.

This has been my favorite place to live thus far in Minneapolis. I lived at the Penfield (St Paul), Archive, and Hencen prior and none come close. They are finally building a sauna, the pool/gym/common areas are nice and well kept, and the resident events by Ciarra are by far the best of all these places. I dislike the non-assigned parking, pay-to-print, and lack of coffee machine/golf simulator, but I can only ask for so much as the building has everything else. It’s pretty well insulated, units are well sized, and the maintenance staff is also very good. 4.5/5 would be my rating if I could do halves, with another .5 added if they bought a coffee machine!

Ciarra has been integral to ensuring that Nordhaus remains an accessible space for me to live! She continues to go above and beyond to ensure that my needs are met and as someone with a disability, that means so much to me! Her and Chuck are always incredibly kind and personable. Thank you for everything you two do! It certainly doesn't go unnoticed by me 😊

I’ve lived at Nordhaus for about five years now, and I truly love it here. It’s more than just an apartment building — it feels like home. The concierge team is incredible. Frank, Javontae, and Yusef are all amazing, but Javontae is my guy. We’ve had so many great conversations about life, work, and being a new dad — usually with my 8-month-old tagging along. It’s those kinds of relationships that make this place special. They’ve also been such a huge help with guests visiting and making sure food delivery drivers actually get the food to us without any hassle. I can’t say enough great things about Ciarra. She is the sweetest and puts together such cool resident events. She truly goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has a great time and is well fed. You can tell she genuinely care
