NOLA Apartments

If I could give a no stars it still wouldn’t be enough! The second week I lived here a man told my brother in law he was videotaping my dog though my window because he was a Pitt bull and he barked at him. What dog isn’t going to bark when they have a man in the window?! I made a complaint and all they said was “he’s just a grumpy old man. He’s not any harm!” He violated my home! That’s not ok! Nothing was done! A few weeks later I saw my screen was off my window and the window was broken where the latch to open it was. I let them know I think someone tried to break in and they blamed it on my brother in law (who didn’t do it) because he was outside my apartment and waiting for me to get home so he can pick up some of his things. Nothing happened again. A man was cutting the yard right out

After renting for 3 years they decided to terminate my lease early because they needed my apartment for a Mardi Gras rental. Ignored emails and phonecalls about water not working among many other problems. I really don't know why I stayed so long.

It's not a glamorous building, but for the price it seems right. There were a lot of things in disrepair when we arrived, putting in a work order after the weekend. So far good enough. 3month update. 2.5 stars. Work order entirely left with no response. Been taking care of the various insect issues ourselves. Can't open half the windows Air conditioners are not strong enough to maintain lower than high 70s. Only 3 Stover burners work One bedroom has but one outlet, which doesn't work The toilet is unnervingly wobbly No ventilation in kitchen whatson ever You could call this place quirky if you wanted to, but let's be real, its in disrepair, and seemingly has no one coming to do anything about it for you 8month update 3.75 stars. Im sure the more negative reviews show up first, but in my experience NOLA Apartments has been incredibly responsive for me and my housemates all year. They are always quick to reply to emails and typically send a maintenance repairman within a few days of requesting. Kelly and Denny in particular have been so good to us. They are always more than willing to work with us, and are incredibly kind and understanding of college students’ situations and sometimes unique complexities.

I’ve never in my life experienced a more unprofessional landlord. I live in a uptown apartment that is a horrible living experience and I’m trying to save whoever is reading this from experiencing the same thing. I’ve sent pictures over and over concerning all the issues with my apartment and not only do they not fix them, they don’t even respond. When I say I’ve had hundreds of termites in my apartment I mean hundreds. They’re everywhere. Clogging the air condition, crawling in my bed, EVERYWHERE! No response. I’ve got a refrigerator that constantly leaks water. Mentioned it several times. Once again no response. Craig Tolbert is money hungry and has no problem at all screwing people over.
