Mt. Whitney Place

I lived there and moved out because I felt my privacy was being invaded. They put surveillance cameras up right outside my bedroom window. While I was in the process of taking a load of my belongings to my new home out of town. The stove caught fire due to faulty wiring. ( which this apartment building has had many fire issues I found out). They took it upon themselves to throw away all of my sentimental valuables including my baby books and photo albums that did not get damaged from the fire or the sprinkler system cause they were in the closet with the doors closed less than 12 hrs after the fire was put out. To my understanding I was renting month to month. I never received my copy of the rental agreement until I took them to court. That's when they handed me my agreement. Later I chec

No onsite manager no onsite activities for the seniors smells bad lots of marijuana smell no security cameras filthy dirty seniors in wheelchairs living on 2nd&3rd floors with no escape if a fire happens. Doesn't seem like a senior housing facility at all young people in and out. I worry for my safety.

I see alot of great things that seniors have that are convienent for them. Management is great and really pay attention to detail. There are activities for them and it’s kept clean. Elevator access is a plus for those that have wheelchairs.

We are just getting my daughter in. However I see this place as being home. We feel in love with the apartment and location.

Main entrance doors stays open 24/7. Cats everywhere.
