Morton Estates

When I moved in here I would rate this a 5 but under the new management (especially the building manager) it has become awful. The printer has not worked in the computer room for over 3 months although he had received multiple requests, I explained to him that I needed to send my medical pended to public aid monthly to keep my benefits and have had to spend over $75 in copying fees for public aid and school and would be taking it out of my rent if the printer isn’t fixed (since the business center is included in our rent and he swore at me. He is asking people to sign documents without seeing what they’re signing until it’s signed, he is forcing people who are afraid of having their banking online to pay rent online. I am so disappointed in this facility. Moved my mom in with a great manager. The building changed hands and now none of the common areas are cleaned. Residents have to use the amenities at their own risk and clean up after themselves including taking out the trash. The common areas are so cold that residents don’t want to use them anymore and you have to wonder if they are doing that on purpose. There is only one janitor there that takes care of everything and he is definitely over worked and under paid. residence are complaining , but the more they complain the more they seem to get into trouble. I am so disappointed because it has the ability to be a great home for 55 and over. My mom pays a great deal in rent for a two bedroom unit and it is a shame that they are not providing more for

I love the design and decor, as well as the fact that each apartment is unique.....no cookie cutter layouts. Just find the one that suits your needs. The staff is dedicated to making your new home just that....yours. You will love the common areas and all the amenities, and so much more. There are so many friendly tenants, I am so happy I made the decision and moved to Morton Estates!

Not affordable housing as they say. Over $900 for a 1 bedroom! I was lied to on the phone and was treated rudely when I arrived for my appointment which they say I didn't have. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
