Morgan Pointe Apartments

Out of the places I’ve lived in Morgantown this place was by far the best! No complaints at all, the location is perfect for a short drive to classes! Darian, leasing agent, was very helpful throughout the past year of living with Morgan Pointe! Michael, the maintenance manager, was very quick to help with any problems I ever had!

Just another landlord that pretends they'll give you your deposit back in order to make you do a bunch of cleaning and painting, but then takes it anyway. I'd had them look at the apartment after I'd done everything and they actually said it looks good and was nothing else that had to be done and wouldn't need any of the deposit....and whadya know, they took almost all! ***Look at those pictures and tell me it needs repainted again***I also tried helping them because they asked if I could move out early so someone else would sign with them...I did so and not only did they take that deposit they didn't even give me any proration back from my last month's rent. Great people, smiling assassins.

I lived here for the last year. Darian and her team was always so kind and efficient with my little to no issues I experienced living here. Super clean, close to downtown and excellent parking was a huge plus! Would recommend to anyone!

This is a nice place to live but they will not give you your security deposit back after you move out. I never missed a rent payment, and I never caused issues with M.E. Properties nor my neighbors. I cleaned the apartment from top to bottom, purchased a $200.00 carpet cleaner to clean the carpets upon moving out (since this was required within the lease), and I was charged over half of my security deposit for repainting of walls and carpet cleaning. I have video evidence of the unit upon moving out and am currently disputing the charges.... enjoy the place but just know you’ll be paying 13 months of rent since you won’t get your deposit back!

Don’t plan on getting your security deposit back. I had heard that from multiple previous tenants so we had people come and clean the place, as well as clean the carpets (which they require), and everyone said it was cleaner and in better shape than most apartments they see. Still didn’t get A DIME of it back. If you live here, don’t bother paying for the carpet cleaning or spend your time doing everything on their cleaning list. Also ran into a few problems while living there and the NEW management did nothing about them.
