Monogram Apartments

Living at Monogram has been a great Uptown Oakland experience. The residence is connected to Kissel Hotel and sits above LuLulemon. Monogram offers an elevated living experience with the convenience of bars, clothing stores, and restaurants that are home to some of the cities best chefs. You are walking distance from the lake and one block away from Oakland’s first Friday event! If you are looking for the best place to live in Oakland, then Monogram is the place for you!

Living at monogram for the past 2 years has been such a delight, it really makes living in Oakland feel like an oasis. The leasing office is very prompt and adamant on meeting all your needs and the building itself is crafted beautifully and mindfully. I plan to stay leasing through gallery 459 as long as I can!

Absolutely DO NOT move into this place. I regret not doing my research before signing the lease because this has been a complete nightmare. I’ve only been here for about a month, and it’s already been a disaster. Packages are constantly stolen or vandalized, the elevators have broken FOUR times, and now one is completely out of service. The management? Completely useless no urgency, just total neglect. If I could give this place negative stars, I would. I’m seriously considering breaking my lease just to get out of this hellhole. Like how can ELEVATOR BREAK EVERY WEEK? Save yourself the headache and find somewhere else—ANYWHERE else—because this place is a joke.

I've recently moved in and have had a host of issues. The building itself is nice mainly because it's brand new, but that also leaves a lot to be desired. There's still lots of the building that feels unfinished or uncleaned. One example is the bike room, where some of the walls look to be made out of plywood. With having my bike stolen recently from another bike locker room which was 100% more secure than this one, I would not be leaving my bike there. The move-in wasn't the greatest either. It seemed as if the management was short staffed and the on-boarding process was disorganized. The set of keys I received did not work and it's been three days and have it yet to be resolved. We've been having to share 1 set of keys between two people which has be extremely frustrating while moving i

I really liked my experience living at Monogram. The location is ideal, the apartments and appliances are nice, and management is very responsive and pleasant to work with. Living in the same building as the hotel has been super convenient as well.
