Modera Montville

Today we oficially moved out of Modera after being here for 18 months. Overall our time here was great, we were maybe one of the few first people here. The maintenance team is fantastic, Johnathan is great. The apartment itself is nice, we were on the 2nd floor above the parking garage and never heard cars or our neighbors except upstairs neighbor. The only reason I give this place a 4 star is the fire alarms. I read a lot of people complain about the water pressure, which I don’t dismiss, but in our apartment we luckily did not have that issue. Management is very nice, they are just trying to do their job and I’m sure there are things out of their control as we all should know. It’s a nice quiet place regardless of the alarm issue. Here’s my honest review from someone who just moved out of Modera Montville following an 18-month lease. First, rules are not enforced by any means. Next, management has zero accountability. Apartment Space Unfortunately, you can hear everything around you from all sides (and above). If you are in the courtyard, you will certainly hear everything as if someone is talking into your ear. In the halls, you can hear conversations from others. Fire alarms and water issues The fire alarms were a constant issue throughout the entirety of the lease, with this, you have to evacuate the building. This past weekend was my family’s last weekend at Modera Montville after 18 months! We were fortunate to find a home in the neighborhood otherwise we could see ourselves staying here a lot longer. The entire staff made us feel very welcomed from the first day through the last. I have to give a shoutout to the Service Manager, Jonathan who always had a smile on his face when we saw him in the halls and went above and beyond whenever we had a question or help with anything at all. In our opinion, he truly exemplified the culture that Modera strived to provide for their tenants to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Thank you Jonathan and the entire Modera Montville faculty!

I’ve really tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt but last nights wake up call @2am was just ridiculous. My boyfriend is a pilot & had to work today and he NEEDS sleep. I feel bad for all the parents with kids. And people with animals. Every issue is never really resolved here, for how much we pay here in rent they need to do better. Kids are always in the gym on the equipment and running around & I’ve brought this up multiple times. Nothing is ever done about it. Very frustrating. Not to mention the trash and furniture by the dumpster is insanely gross and trashy looking.

I recently moved out after living here for about a year. Overall, it was a nice experience. The standout feature of this community were the amenities and definitely the maintenance staff—Jonathan on the maintenance team was incredibly helpful and was always on top of things. The only downsides were that the fire alarms seemed to go off a bit too frequently when we first moved in, and there were at times kids running around inside the gym. Despite those minor annoyances, it’s a good place to call home.
