Mary was our agent when myself and my wife needed to buy a house. That house received many competitive bids and Mary helped us win the competition (as well as negotiate post-offer-acceptance issues with house inspection results). Over years we've worked with several real estate agents, and I can say that in our case Mary was professional and knowledgeable. As a sidenote, the house we bought with Mary's help is quite a way out for her (even by LA standards), yet she drove down for each inspection, even though her presence was entirely optional (in fact she's the only agent we've worked with who came down for every inspection, including general inspection, etc.)
