Lynnwood Garden Village

I was attracted to the Lynnwood Garden Village apartments because of the layout of the property. There are several individual buildings only 2 stories high with only 3 or 4 units to each building all with beautiful wall length sliding glass doors that open to a nice size patio over-looking nicely tailored park-like grounds. Lots of evergreen trees and flowering shrubs. Lots of parking, huge club house in a comfortable setting, office area meticulously maintained and managed. Which brings me to the top of my experience…Kim, the office manager. She went way beyond any expectations I had. She is very professional, yet understanding and warm. Sadly, I did not qualify for the apartment, as I had a bankruptcy years ago and haven’t build up enough active credit. I will probably forget everything

I came to tour for an apartment and management was absolutely TERRIBLE the lady was hella rude, Not professional and didn’t seem confident in anything she said about the apartment or the application process. After the tour she tried to see us out but completely forgot that she held our ids in her office until we said something. Overall it had me second guessing everything just by the way things were in that office, red flags completely. if your looking for a place with hands on management that’ll make sure everything is taken care of and your living experience there is well.. this is not the place. I’ve met many managers for apartments in the past few weeks and this is the only one that had me feeling uneasy which is why I’m leaving a review now.

Note: This is not a paid review; it is an honest one. My family and I have been residing in this apartment building for four years now. I love how close this building is to practically everything you might need on a daily basis. Among the services around are: Alderwood Mall, grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations, and schools, all within walking distance, as well as multiple accesses to the I-5 and I-405 freeways. The majority don't require you to run your car to get there. Additionally, since each apartment has a designated parking space, there are no parking issues. The management team is really friendly and helpful, especially Kim, who is the actual responsible person. She is an incredibly helpful and kind person. Every time we have a problem, she always responds quickly and follows

Overall, it’s a decent price and place to live. I’m in a 2x1… what I like most about the apt is the large windows & huge balcony. (Seriously huge) The trees around here are stunning. If you like squirrels and bunnies, and are near the grassy courtyard, you get your fill. I wish that sometime in the future, owners of the property find a way to have the giant hallway closet (in the 2x1) converted and turned into laundry space. It can’t be that rough with the kitchen sink and dishwasher on the other side of the wall. (I could be wrong) I like my neighbors. I like the location, I dig the response time from management when I email them. Oh! And for this being a smoking community. Really no butts around that I’ve seen. Maintenance is good on upkeep.

I have been living here for over a year and it is very old apartment.The apartment has been over charged me $900 with my security deposit after I moved, for whole painting and cleaning that which I did cleaning and without any paint damage after I move with inspectors and not even provide me with total cost receipt. I had been called the office over a week for that without pick up my phone called and left the voice mails also. Do not ever want to get scam by this cheap apartment guy, They really ignoring and unfair for resident like me.
