Lynnhaven Cove Senior Living Community

After two years on the waitlist, my parents finally moved into Lynnhaven Cove—and it’s been worth the wait. The community is impeccably maintained, with a clean and inviting atmosphere that immediately feels like home. Melissa Rodgers, the Assistant Community Manager, is exceptional—attentive, proactive, and genuinely committed to ensuring every resident is well cared for. The neighbors are warm and welcoming, creating a vibrant environment that encourages connection, activity, and a true sense of belonging for your loved ones.

We are in the beginning stages of moving my mother in law to Virginia from out of state. My husband (active duty) and I (works full-time) have a lot to figure out and handle so of course it starts with finding somewhere for her to live. It’s been very stressful and disheartening because you either have to be pretty well off or ok living in terrible conditions. We stopped in to Lynnhaven Cove with my MIL just to get some information. We were met instantly by friendly office staff. Melissa Rodger’s brought us to a quiet room and immediately went over all information, application process etc. We were also super lucky to be able to have a quick tour of the community. Melissa was extremely warm, friendly and knowledgeable. The energy from the beginning was so welcoming, everything was so clean

Moving in your sixties is hard for anyone. The management staff at Lynnhaven Cove are so wonderful & caring including Sharon, Melissa & Julie. The cleaning & maintenance staff are equally helpful. This is a nice community of people living here that are welcoming. I am very thankful this Thanksgiving.

I highly recommend Lynnhaven Cove. The property is well kept and clean thanks to the maintenance staff, and requests for their services are generally handled within a day or two. The office manager and staff are always pleasant and engaging with their residents. The property offers excellent free basic cable and secured entry doors for resident safety.

This is my first month here, and I am extremely pleased with my home and community. I have not seen a single bug and my cable and internet are perfect for my entertainment needs. The hallways are clean and bright, and the grounds and exterior look great, too. I have met some wonderful people who have made me feel welcome. I want to thank Sharon and her staff for the work they do to create such a peaceful and special place.
