We’ve bought and sold many homes before, but we can honestly say that working with Christy Beck of Long & Foster was our best experience ever. She is a dedicated professional and genuinely cares about her clients. From the moment we first talked to her about our needs in a new house, she was intent on finding us a home that matched our wishes. She was very pleasant to work with and went above and beyond what we were expecting. My first house purchase was a very big deal for me! I was moving from out of state to the Charlottesville area. I didn't know anyone here, so blindly picked Long and Foster as the real estate company to help me find a house. Luck was on my side when Patty Ardnt was assigned to be my realtor! I can not say enough good things about her! She works so hard for her clients, answering questions very quickly, smoothly leading her clients through the process, and giving much needed encouragement at times! She is so knowledgeable and has a great list of professionals that she knows to assist for closing, mortgage, insurance and home projects after purchase. She has made the last few months so much easier for me, and I purchased a wonderful house to make into my very first home!

I had Chirs Long as a realtor and one of his co-workers working for the seller and it was a nightmare. I was under a lot od stress my daughter and we were going thur a nightmare and Chris know this so he took advantage of this and screwed me over and lied to me I have text messages to prove this he was telling the buyer I would leave the washer and dryer for them and I told him i was taking tha tank the fuel that was left in the tank that I owed he just gave them and he know I had to move Chris worked with the buyers and not me he did alot of lieing so run and don't look back. I was a single my under hard ship and he had no heart so please don't find out the hard way like I did
