Warning: before moving in, ensure you sign off, conduct a walk through inspection, this office cannot be trusted. Read the lease or get someone to do it for you. 9/17 update: I decided to use the balcony this past weekend. Btw, I had alerted the office I noticed it was not cleaned mere days after I moved. Nevertheless, there was no attempt to clean it so I did. (Photos below). It appears it was not cleaned prior to me moving in. In fact, I never signed off a checklist upon moving in. I also discovered there is no ice maker in the fridge, the dishwasher does not seem to be working without using hot water, the floor throughout the apartment is falling apart so vacuuming will destroy the floor. More pics to come. Where do I start? Oh I know. Let’s start with the residents that reside here.
This is a training property. I moved here because of Mason and the things he was doing. I decide to move in and there’s 3-4 new people. One dude in the office that clearly thought he was too good to be slumming outside of Eagan. He could not answer questions for insurance and renters insurance is required. I’m hoping one of the gentlemen stays. Two of them are pretty good. If they could work at one property. Weidner needs to get it together, concierge and customer service is what we get at these rental prices elsewhere. Train at corporate and come serve our apartment community. And there’s a 14 day repair in Minnesota and the law doesn’t wait for the procurement procedures in place to go through corporate to get approved when the tenant or commons area already had the amenity
I have been a resident here for nearly two years and, overall, I truly enjoy living in this community. The smaller size of the complex creates a warm, close-knit environment that feels much like a genuine neighborhood. The staff have consistently been attentive, responsive, and appear to genuinely care about the well-being of residents. Although I do wish the leasing office could retain staff for longer periods, every team member I’ve interacted with has been professional and approachable. Given the current state of Lowertown—which many will understand—this property stands out as remarkably stable, safe, and clean. While some areas, such as the hallway carpeting, could benefit from an update, that is a minor observation in the bigger picture. Any inconveniences typically associated with
When I moved in, this area was fantastic, and management at the time was fantastic. The building was clean, well-managed, and secure. They used to do many fun local events and provided amazing customer service and resolutions promptly. Then, a constant revolving door of maintenance staff and managers started happening due to this location being basically a training ground for new managers. The building is absolutely not secure, and there are frequent break-ins and lots of theft by homeless people. You often find homeless people camping in the garage, stairwells, and hallways with less foot traffic and in the doorways. You find durg paraphernalia as well as urine and human feces in these locations constantly. You often find them enjoying themselves and helping themselves to the very little
12/10 would recommend Lofts at Farmers Market! The apartment itself is so cute and in a great location, but the real stars of the show are the management & maintenance teams! Every company needs a Jesika, because she is phenomenal! You can tell that she genuinely cares about her residents (and even checked on my fur child when she knew I would be working longer than usual), and is always on top of responding to any emails or questions! Justin is also a rockstar, responding to any of my maintenance requests usually THE DAY I submitted them (if not day of, then the following day). I will always have nothing but positive things to say about my time living at Lofts at Farmers Market!
