I’d like to share my personal experience with Tom Gioia after reading some of the reviews. Unfortunately, Tom was not able to sell my property. Throughout our interactions, I never felt entirely comfortable working with him, and I expressed my concerns to my partner about trusting him. After our contract ended, we decided to list with another agent. Following that, Tom seemed upset and reportedly reported several code violations to the city. We later heard that he had made these reports, and while we cannot confirm all the details, it left us with a sense of unease. I would advise others to carefully consider their options and be cautious in their dealings with him.

Tom Gioia is completely unprofessional. He’s annoyingly pushy and dishonest. He doesn’t listen. He doesn’t care about you. He only cares about himself and making the next sale.

The Lee & Associates broker Tom Gioia I had hired awhile back was arrogant, pushy, chauvinistic and ultimately ended up breaching his fiduciary duty to me by facilitating a sublease deal with my tenant unbeknownst to me. This is not heresay. I have still have a copy of the sublease in which my signature is nowhere to be found. Tom drew up the lease. I would choose your commercial broker wisely and select someone who is transparent, professional and respectful.
