Lanier Place Apartments

My husband and I have been living here with our son for for a few months now and we love it. The manager Michelle and her husband are always very on top of things. Any time we have ever needed anything fixed or done they get it done almost immediately. We definitely plan on renewing our lease a few times until we get something bigger.

Worst place to live in Statesboro. Apartment was dirty when I moved in (trash still under sinks in bathroom and kitchen, carpet had a ton of stains). When I moved out, they charged me a $100 cleaning fee, even though the apartment was dirty when I was given the keys and was thoroughly cleaned before I left. Found a POSSUM in my bathroom one day. Property manager did not situation seriously, literally just said “oh no. how did that happen?”. I have an ESA animal, so if my cat had gotten hurt, that would’ve been a big issue. Property manager/maintenance were NEVER on site. They would be gone for days at a time with no notice. The office hours are 9am-4pm, you’d be lucky if they were there from 11am-2pm (not including leaving for lunch). Spend a bit more money, and go live somewhere better. N

So I lived here for about three years and theres lots of problems. I really appreciated the new management company though for trying and being consistent. I will say what I dont appreciate is having to break our lease early and them letting us only charging a clean up fee. But then having all my contact info and nod seeing us in person and not telling us they had a bill for the clean up (they are in the process of remodeling so I thought there was a delay) and then sending it to collections two days after christmas without notifing me at all. That is sneaky business practice right there.

These apartments are very small and high. They charge u a $85 late fee after the 1st of the month and doesn’t work with u until u get paid. I have a 2 bedroom and I pay 1,164. There is no space in these apartments. Adalease Property Management is rude and will kick u out and give u a time frame the same exact day to get out. They charge u so much to build on the other apartments that need to be fix on.
