Lakes of Summerville

This is a quiet, friendly neighborhood. It's big ,there are beautiful homes and townhouses in this area.My mother has been living in the Lakes of Summerville for a long time. I used to enjoy taking my kids to her house during Halloween. All the neighbors and people in that community are friendly and I enjoy summers and relax by the pool with my mother and other people who come out to the pool area.

We live in the more established part of the neighborhood and we love it. It's quiet and lovely. The neighbors are wonderful, friendly and watch out for each other. Our children all play together well. There is a nice mix of older retirees, middles and young families. The land is at a higher elevation...no flood ins. required. We got a lot of house for our money.

Been living here nearly five years. Neighbors are friendly neighborly. Plenty of yard. Spacious. Lakes of Summerville Is a huge development that in a way feels close and comfortable. I ride my bike throughout the neighborhood and love it all

This neighborhood makes a big deal out of how cheap it is to live here, but there are a ridiculous number of rules to follow. You are fined $10 for each extra day your trash can is out, even if Waste Pro doesn't show for several days. The new management company must be trying to prove something, since they are sending out fines all over the place and then telling us that all these letters cost the community money. The houses are cheaply built and we have tacky signs advertising how cheap this place is. We should not have to deal with an over-the-top HOA!

This community are not as great as you think. The community is a fairly quiet community with no issue of loud house parties. This demographic of this community mostly white. The quality of life here is decent at most. A family member of mine owes/owed property in this community and the amount of rules for this un-gated community is astounding. I'll explain later. On a similar note, there are members of the Lakes Of Summerville community board/hoa who live in this neighborhood and if you are unfortunate enough to live next to a member, be prepared to make sure your house and property are in tip top shape by every rule in the community guidelines book.
