My wife and I moved into The Lakehaus three months ago, and in that time, we have experienced a seamless transition despite a recent management change. The previous management team were great, so we were initially concerned about the shift. However, the new management, Weidner, has been amazing, with clear and proactive communication and a highly approachable demeanor. We were particularly relieved that the maintenance team—Jeff and Dmitriy—was retained. Their reliability and professionalism have ensured that any issues are addressed promptly and effectively. Having lived in numerous apartment buildings across the country, we can confidently say this is our favorite to date. The office team, led by Amy, Amanda, and Seth, consistently meets all our needs with efficiency and attentiveness. A

I moved to Lakehaus in August of 2025, the location and amenities along with amazing views from the apartments drew me in. Access to trails, restaurants, and all the things needed to live are so close. The week I moved in Weidner announced they acquired the building, so the very nice team that I knew was replaced. I couldn’t have imagined that such an amazing new staff was stepping in! They have enhanced the experience here at Lakehaus beyond my expectations! Activities, friendliness, taking care of requests have all been superb! I definitely recommend this place. A friendly community of renters and Weidner staff await!

I currently live here, and while the apartment itself is decent, it feels significantly overpriced for what you get. The unit we originally wanted was said to be unavailable, but two months later it’s still sitting empty — which was disappointing. Move-in was also less than smooth. The loading dock was broken at the time, forcing me to walk around every trip with the U-Haul. The hot tub was out of service for over a month before finally being repaired. Management often seems unavailable or too busy to answer basic questions, which creates unnecessary frustration. One strange experience was during move-in when a resident asked to see my key fob before I could get on the elevator. I understand the importance of security, but it felt unnecessary considering it was very clear I was unloading

Lakehaus Mpls is such an amazing multifamily property. The amenities are incredible, the construction quality and design are second to none, the residents are great people and the management, leasing, maintenance and concierge team are top notch. I highly recommend Lakehaus Mpls!

Any building that is managed by Weidner, I will always 100000% encourage people to move to! Weidner took over property management here at LakeHaus about a month ago(so any negative reviews before that date should be completely ignored on here, since those pertain to the previous Greystar management team). This is my second time renting with Weidner as my apartment management company. Having lived at over 5 apartments in the area, with different management companies at each one, no other management company even compares to Weidner. They are in a league of their own. At both of their properties that I’ve lived at, they have truly made me feel like part of a community. Going so far as to acknowledge my birthday with a gift! I hope everyone who rents gets a chance to rent from a Weidner manage
