Don’t be influenced by Courtney's 42 years of stated experience, being a realtor and broker, Dave Ramsey Trusted, or being a Keller Williams local office owner. I asked Courtney to price for a quick sale. I also asked her whether some cosmetic things needed to be done before we listed the house. She assured me that the listing price would sell the house quickly as is. She could not have been more wrong. Over 60 days after listing we received our first offer. Between the original listing and the actual sale, the asking price was reduced three times. Most driven by me. Ultimately, with concessions our house sold for over $60,000 under her aggressive original asking price. Clearly, she didn’t do a good job of evaluating the home against the market. Closing was an absolute nightmare.
