KB Home River Run I

Be warned. The process sucks big time and takes forever to get things fixed even though homes are labeled "move-in ready". I have cracked tiles throughout my home (they said it was due to the new construction home settling) that I've submitted multiple warranty claims for in the past 3 months with no resolution, among a multitude of other major problems (including a potential leak that is costing me money in water bills that they have yet to diagnose) that have appeared after closing. It's like once they sell you the home, it's off their hands and there are no real plans to uphold and honor the warranty. As other reviews have mentioned, the poor internal communication is baffling at best and it's a wonder how they get things done when it's largely up to the homeowner to take on the respons

I have quite a lengthy review as the process so far has been intense. KB builds beautiful homes, but there is a large disconnect with communications internally in the company. To start, my family is moving from Texas to build a home in this community. We have had several project managers over the course of construction and at times would not receive updates for weeks at a time. Once we received our latest PM (who has been great), the home was being put together nicely. On the loan side of the business, I was promised 10k in builder credits for using their lender. I was told that 2/28 would be my close date in confidence and I put my 2 weeks notice in at my job in Texas to prepare for a move. 2/28 never happened and my closing date was pushed back over 8 times saying the house only needed

I bought a home here in Aug 2024. As of Today (Nov 2024) the issues brought up during closing, 10 day walkthrough are YET to be addressed. For example, the floor has a squeaking sound on the second floor(which I DO NOT expect for NEW BUILD) which was supposed to be fixed before closing. But has not been addressed till date. Once you close on the house, the KB homes team DOES NOT care about your issues. Make sure ALL your issues are fixed before you move-in IRRESPECTIVE of how much they push to close on the HOME. Attaching the picture of the front lawn which has BEEN that way for 4 weeks now when asked to fix the water being stagnant and not DRaining in the soil issue. VERY DISAPPOINTED with the QUALITY of construction and NO FIX for issues for 3 MONTHS NOW.

Get everything you want to be fixed before closing if you don't good luck getting them to fix anything. I took out my light fixtures to replace it with a ceiling fan soon as I took the old fixture out cold air start blowing from the fixture whole . Just like a ac vent 😳. Water will set around the homes after rain. There is no drainage system at all.

Hello ''KB HOMES'' We also think you need to add lighting to the entrance off 301 as we have passed it several times the area is too dark and does not even seem like an entrance to the new homes please please add some entrance lighting make it look more prominent not just that little river run sign thanks .
