Kaywood Gardens Apartments

Two stars is for the simple fact that it is highly affordable and great for first time apartments. Me and my sister both lived in the complex both experiencing different things. I lived on Arundel rd which was high in theft I had two different type of cars stolen in less than a year from each other. My apartment had a real bad mice problem they tore the carpet they would leave droppings it was a lot. My sister on the other hand didn’t have rodent problems but had a few bug problems and mold. Now even with these problems it’s a at your own risk type of situation. I’m currently gone now and waiting to hear an update on deposit and to hear if they have anything to say regarding the apartment which should be nothing. I will update review regarding that if they try something !!

Run! Run a mile!!! I scheduled a visit of your property on 08/14/2025 at 2 pm. We arrived at 1:55 pm and were met with an extremely hostile and pugnacious member of the leasing team who quite literally barked instructions at us. My mother forgot her ID in the car, and stepped out for quite literally 2 minutes to collect it. When she returned with it, we were told we would need to wait as your team conducts "multiple viewings" and someone had already arrived for a 2 pm viewing ahead of us. I tried to clarify that this had not been explained to me and I had taken my lunch break to come out, at which point she loudly complained to whom I can only imagine was the Property Manager that I was giving her attitude after her extremely unfriendly and hostile manner to us from the start. ZERO STARS REVIEW ! Don't move here. there is mold in all areas of the apartment our clothes and furniture were damaged and our health was affected. Nobody responds for the damage to our things and nobody responded to the expenses of our health. We paid to do a mold test (of our own money that no one paid us back) and the results were alarming, we had to get out of there fast for fear of our health. Being in times of COVID-19, no one respected social distance, more than 5 workers arrived to fix a water leak and some did not use a face mask.

Water got into my apartment through the outside walls. My apartment from roof to floor was wet, bubbles of water and paint fell off. I reached out multiple times to get it fixed. They always said someone fixed it but yet it was never fixed. Thankfully my lease was almost up but for one crayon stain and carpet stain I got charged a $500 fee and sent to collection. Worse management ever. Place is cheap, nice and great location but they will bust your pockets with the smallest thing when they can’t even fix their issues. Oh plumbing was bad I had to get someone to fix it on my end because they would never come out.

Disgusting place and rude people working here. Roaches. Haven’t had working laundry in almost a year. Mold EVERYWHERE. Car windows smashed. Tonya is the manager who has an attitude to match the fungus.
