Kalo Broadmoor Tower

Do. Not. Move. Here. I lived at these apartments for a year and change. The first year started well and ended horribly. The landlord refused to fix work orders, there were a minimum of 4 different "maintenance managers" during my tenancy. I was harassed by other tenants, they leased to some very concerning individuals, my car was stolen not once, not twice but three times as well as several other tenants vehicles. They claim to be a secure building but the front and rear building entrance door locks do not function. The bottom or ground floor floods anytime it rains or snows, the elevator was out of order no less than 3 times each totaling 2 weeks or longer never in one instance it took them 3 weeks to repair while wheelchair bound tenants were stuck on the upper floors with no way out.

They do a classic bait and switch they show and tell people in their ads that they're renting for an apartment at $846 a month and when I show up they say those aren't available but the tripod man another one for a $1,020 a month. Stay far away from me shysters. I went to their other apartment across the street and a pool looks like somebody died in it. A lot nicer places than this. This place should be a shame to call themselves part of the Broadmoor.

Current resident. Half the lease left, DO NOT MOVE HERE. Office doesn’t answer any calls/ call back requests. I have been hung up on when asking how the office is solving any problem. Took 2 months to get a mail box key (was given the wrong key 2 times by Lionel), no one is in the “office” across the street unless they are doing a showing. Cockroachs are the residents problem, stairwells always have food and pet waste EVERYWHERE. This month there is a BLOOD trail down 3 sets of stairs to the outside. (hope that person/ pet is ok) A premium apt has pink stains and counter tops that are damaged. Wall AC unit doesn’t work properly. The pool they advertise is disgusting and not available. The rec room is not available to me but maintenance uses it as a break room.The elevator they rave about s

yeeesh! you've got to be in some pretty dire straits to actually choose to live here. if the bars on the windows (ground level only) aren't enough of a reason to reconsider, maybe the perpetual roach infestation is. what's fun is that management believes they have no obligation to tackle the building-wide roach infestation. so that's a daily, unwinnable battle for every resident. forcing a child to live here should be considered abuse. do you think you have what it takes to opt in to this kind of plight?

DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!! COCKROACH INFESTATION!!!!!! Management is IMPOSSIBLE to get ahold of, they don’t answer phones, no one in the office, no replies to email. They don’t care if you don’t have ac or heat. And the cockroach problem is everywhere and bad. They don’t care and won’t hire an exterminator. This place needs to be shut down it’s a borderline biohazard at this point. Go somewhere else!
