Hyde Park Arbors Urban Studio Apartments

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS MANAGEMENT COMPANY - "Rent Palm Communities." They are nothing but swindlers and thieves! I'm a landlord myself and have rented many apartments over the years (both as landlord and tenant) so I speak from decades of experience in this business. We just moved out of this 104 S. Armenia Ave Tampa, Hyde Park Arbors building. Many, many problems with this horrible company! They will charge you any chance they get for made-up charges, literally trying to steal your money. For instance, when we renewed the lease, they charged a (surprise!) $200 "application fee" -- yet we're the same people renting for the last year!! I lived at Hyde Park Arbors for a year in one of the studios. I had a good experience and no major issues. Pros: great location/very central for Tampa, updated kitchen, good size for a studio, LOTS of closet space, kitchen is down a little hall so it doesn't feel like a studio, updated appliances but no dishwasher, maintenance came and fixed issues fast, secure building with codes, and good natural light because I had an end unit with a huge window. Cons: only street parking and very little spots, no ceiling fan in my unit, washer/dryer combo takes forever to dry clothes, I could hear the person in the unit below me if they were loud or had music on, small bathroom, very little counter space in the kitchen, and management takes some time to respond.
