I have been living in Huntington Vista for over a year. My boyfriend and I love our neighbors and the location but this complex completely falls short when it comes to the property management, UDR. We have had some minor issues here and there but in the last few months, the issues have made themselves more apparent. Someone from the third floor was peeing off their patio onto ours. We called Huntington Vista and asked for there to be a clean up and we were denied, even though human urine is a biohazard. Last week, I purchased a new vehicle. When I asked for a new transponder, I was told by Aubrey I would need to be charged $300. When I pushed back on this, I was able to get a new transponder free of charge by showing proof of purchasing a new vehicle. Upon move in, I was given a reserv
I had a very disappointing experience living in this apartment, and I would not recommend it to anyone considering moving in. First, the management charged me for paint after I moved out—even though I only lived there for 14 months. Normal wear and tear should not result in extra fees, but they still billed me without reasonable justification. There are also hidden costs that they never clearly explain upfront. They charge extra for things like trash service, package locker fees, and other add-on charges that quickly increase your monthly rent. These surprise costs make budgeting difficult and make the apartment far less affordable than it initially appears. The cleanliness around the property is terrible. There were frequently dog feces and urine all over the walkways and common areas,
I have been living here for almost 2 years. This place is another version of hell. Try getting ahold of management. Good luck! Unless it is about signing a lease or taking your money, they don’t respond. Try calling? Ha!!!! They don’t answer that either. The location and the fact that it is blocks away from the beach is pretty much the best part. The apartment complex is deceiving as we have such a great maintenance guy (Ricardo) and he cleans constantly since the tenants here leave trash everywhere. Dogs are left off leashes and poop is always in front of our door (even our ring camera doesn’t stop people from leaving the poop there). The laundry rooms are just a money trap. They never work, never dry properly, and are constantly going up in price. The pools, are pretty gross and not main
I am honestly very disappointed since my move in day. My car was towed because we were given the wrong carport by the management of the apartment complex. This was extremely frustrating and inconvenient because my car was towed on my first day of move in. I had to miss a whole day of work to get my car back, and had to convince the complex it was not my fault. After missing a whole day of work and getting my car back. They have barely responded to my messages and have ignored all messages about meeting up and have denied any and all compensation. Saying "there's nothing we can do". I pay for the apartment through my work, I was upset to hear that they "couldn't do anything" I'm extremely disappointed in the communication and the lack of support I feel from the apartment management team.
I typically don’t write reviews, but I feel compelled to warn potential residents about this complex. My experience here has been nothing short of a nightmare. First off, there’s no leasing office on-site, which makes addressing any issues nearly impossible. The common areas are filthy, with dog feces scattered around and seemingly never cleaned. The laundry facilities are disgustingly dirty, and I wouldn’t dare use them. The situation gets worse. There’s a mouse infestation in the BBQ area, making it unusable and downright dangerous. Even worse, the mice have started coming into my apartment at night and eating my fruit. It’s completely disgusting. Despite this serious issue, the complex sent a pest control company that did nothing to resolve the problem. The jacuzzi has an unbearable
