The realtor I had used from originally placing my home on the market (approx one year prior) until it was sold, changed to Hometown realty after a sale fell through related to financing issues. Approx 2 weeks before the closing was to occur the second time, there was a dispute with my realtor and the broker at Hometown. My realtor continued with all the sale arrangement and went above and beyond multiple times due to unexpected water damage just before closing, assisting with contractors and meeting them at the house as I was unable. Unfortunately another realtor from Hometown realty came to the closing as well and took all the paperwork and checks with him. Nina Catagnus is very knowledgeable about real estate and makes herself available at all hours for her clients with questions or concerns. She literally bends over backwards to get you to the finish line. She is ethical, a great negotiator and I highly recommend her to buyers and sellers.

Literally one of the worst agencies I have come across. Their agents are totally unethical--telling sellers not to preform septic inspections AFTER they've signed an AOS. Their agent then attempted to KEEP the deposit money after the sale fell through due to financing. If I found a house that was listed for sale by this company, I would never consider it. The funny thing is, this approach is doing NOTHING to benefit the folks that opt to list their property with them. EDIT: for the owner claiming to have “no record”, you should look through copies of your your hand money refund checks. :)
