Highrise Nola

Management was terrible after Claudio the old manager left. We couldn't get in contact by phone or Email. We had to write a letter and drop it on their mailbox multiple times to get in touch with someone in the front office. We saw the maintenance team everyday, and asked how to get in touch with the front office and they didn't have much information either. The fire alarm went off multiple times a month without any explanation. sometimes in the middle of the night, it got so bad that we didn't even know if it was a real fire alarm or not. The elevator was broken almost every other day. Each floor has a laundry room with two washers and our floor one of the washers was broken for about a month. I absolutely love living here at the Highrise . I’ve been living here since they first opened. And the only complaint i have is about the elevators. Which is not a management problem as much as it is a tenant problem . My favorite part about living at the Highrise is having access to the pool all year around, there is also a grill that they provided for us to use. We have a full service gym that i absolutely enjoy using with 2 tvs. I have a lot of nice neighbors that i have met while living here , it’s overall a great community living here at the Highrise and I do not plan on moving . I didn’t really like the first manager we had at the property, but the new manager Keith is doing a fantastic job. Any complaints concerns or questions i have for him, are always answered/addressed in a timel

I lived here for sometime. The place itself is very modern and nice but the big issue is the scent of weed coming through the vents, it happens all hours of the day and night. Management refuse to properly look into it. Mind you, it is stipulated on details of the building that it was smoke fee apartments. So for me, it’s a one star but for heavy weed smokers, go apply to rent and have fun because management has got you covered!

What she failed to disclose is that she was hammering well past midnight: I recorded everything with my phone. She did it again at 6:15 a few hours later, AND she has multiple dogs that bark and fight at all hours of the night. She's a terrible tenant and deserves to be thrown out. Onto the review... Too many dog owners. The building is nice, but the big problem is the dog owners. Dogs bark day and night and management does nothing. There's dog poop in front of the lobby doors. Not a great experience overall. So many issues from the alarm waking people up in the middle of the night, to the “parties” they like to randomly schedule. Elevator was out of service weekly. Almost impossible to get in touch with management unless you catch them in the lobby. I definitely wouldn’t recommend.
