Harpers Square Apartments

The court I live in is super quiet and the trash is dumped frequently which I really like! There’s also a playground and basketball court on-site. Rent is highly affordable for the location, office staff is always a pleasure when you go inside, maintenance comes rather quickly, and new management seems to really care about the property and residents. Unfortunately, I am leaving due to the amount of roaches that come into my apartment from air vents and light fixtures; when it rains and doesn’t, whether you get pest control or not. The technician actually told me they only do pest control, not extermination..that leaves you to deal with the bugs and I just cannot do that. There were some small issues with my move in and a suspected bathroom leak that was surface checked, nothing more. Runni

I Have been at Harpers Square going on 6 Yrs. All of the maintenance men are always very respectful and helpful. Today I had the opportunity to have Robert come to take care of a request. I needed new weather stripping around the outside of my door. Well for various reasons the job turn out bigger than it should have. Robert stuck to it until it was to my satisfaction. He kept professional and polite the whole time. Thank you very much!!!!

I been at Harpers Square for 2 years now. I will have to admit the first year was rough with communication from the office. Since Devontae Smith join the office it has been a pleasure to live here. He follows up on requests and actually makes me feel like I’m apart of the community. He goes above and beyond to handle requests. I don’t know where you guys found him but that was a great move. Recently I have told friends about this lovely place. Thanks for being the greatest most affordable place to live in the 757

Applying and working with DeVonte was a pleasure. He made the experience easy and hassle free. Very responsive, and made sure everything was ready to go when my move in date arrived. If you are looking for a new place to reside, I highly recommend this property.

On Friday, December 19, 2025, Mr. DeVonte Smith, Assistant Property Manager at Harpers Square Apartments, gave me a Housing Payments Contract Amendment Notice for a Section-8 Tenant-Based Assistance Rental Voucher - DOCUMENT, dated 12/10/2025 and signed by my Housing Specialist, Ms. Kimberly Jernigan, on my behalf for my Apartment at Harpers Square Apartments amended effective January 1, 2026. Today, Wednesday, January 14, 2026, Mr. DeVonte Smith put together my Rental Package Paperwork for a 1 year Lease with Harpers Square Apartments, and with Ms. Kimberly Jernigan's (Housing Specialist III) approval, I successfully signed my 1 year Lease. I definitely recommend Harpers Square Apartments as the Best Apartment Complex in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and I definitely recommend the services
